Big things can come from doing things a little differently.

Earlier this year, a viral burger trend took off across social media, with CEOs from major brands posting videos of themselves taking a bite and joining the conversation. But when it was P. Terry’s turn, our co-founder and CEO, Patrick Terry, took a different approach.

Instead of simply posting a video, Patrick invited 10 guests to join him for lunch.

What followed was something we couldn’t have predicted. The video quickly gained traction, ultimately generating more than 25 million views across platforms and sparking over 100,000 comments from people around the world. For a family-owned brand with just 37 locations, it was a moment that stood out – and one that reflected the kind of connection we strive to build every day.

“We’ve been blown away by the response,” Terry said. “Social media wasn’t always a big part of our strategy, but over the last year or two, it’s become an incredibly effective way for us to connect with people in an authentic way. We’re grateful and humbled by the support, and it’s been exciting to see that momentum carry over into our restaurants as well.”

While the trend itself was about burgers, what resonated most was something bigger: community. Inviting guests to the table – literally – felt like a natural extension of who we are and how we’ve always approached our business.

Since opening our first stand in 2005, we’ve believed in doing things the right way: serving high-quality food at an affordable price and staying closely connected to the communities we serve. Moments like this remind us that authenticity matters – and that sometimes, the simplest ideas can make the biggest impact.

To everyone who watched, commented, shared, or joined us along the way – thank you.
