March 24, 2026, Austin, TX — P. Terry’s Burger Stand is pleased to announce its first Giving Back Day of 2026, continuing a longstanding tradition of donating 100% of profits from all stands to local nonprofit organizations that strengthen the communities we serve. This quarter’s Giving Back Day will take place on Saturday, March 28, with proceeds benefiting three regional partners across Texas.
- Austin area: Funds will support The Settlement Home for Children, a local nonprofit that serves individuals who have experienced severe emotional trauma, abuse, and neglect.
- San Antonio area: Donations will go to Corazón, a nonprofit dedicated to serving individuals experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, and crisis.
- Houston area: Proceeds will benefit Brighter Bites, a nonprofit that provides programs designed to build healthier communities by helping children and their families develop habits that can prevent obesity.
“From the very beginning, P. Terry’s has been about more than serving great food,” said Kathy Terry, co-founder of P. Terry’s Burger Stand. “Giving Back Day is a chance for our guests and our team to come together and support organizations that are doing important work right here in our communities.” Since launching Giving Back Days in 2005, P. Terry’s has donated more than $2.7 million to Texas nonprofits. The initiative remains a cornerstone of the brand’s commitment to community, rooted in the belief that success is meant to be shared.
