There’s no better place to celebrate National Cheeseburger Day than where it all began.
On September 18, we invited the community out to our original Barton Springs location for a one-night-only celebration filled with music, burgers, and a little friendly competition. From 7:00–10:00 PM, guests gathered at 404 S. Lamar Blvd. to enjoy the energy of the night, complete with a live DJ set from Secret Disco.
The highlight of the evening came at 8:00 PM, when a group of pre-selected competitors faced off in our burger eating contest – bringing plenty of excitement (and bragging rights) to the crowd.
“Our very first location is where it all began,” said Patrick Terry, co-founder and CEO of P. Terry’s. “So, it’s the perfect place to celebrate National Cheeseburger Day with our guests, great music, and a little friendly burger-eating fun.”
Throughout the night, guests enjoyed their favorite P. Terry’s classics while soaking in the atmosphere, making it a memorable way to celebrate one of our favorite days of the year. Events like this are all about bringing people together – over great food, good music, and shared moments. To everyone who came out and celebrated with us, thank you for making it such a fun and special night.
